ABOUT 6585 CONSULTING

Two Perspectives. One Integrated Approach.

Organizations are both human and operational.

Strategy matters. So do relationships.

Structure matters. So does behavior.

Systems matter. So does trust.

The strongest organizations understand how these elements work together.

That belief is at the heart of 6585 Consulting.

We bring complementary backgrounds in organizational development, human resources, leadership, communication, and business strategy. Together, we help organizations see challenges from multiple perspectives and design solutions that connect people strategy with organizational reality.

Why 6585?

The name 6585 represents the birth years of our two founders: 1965 and 1985.

Two generations. Two professional paths. Two perspectives.

Our differences are part of our strength.

We ask different questions. We notice different things. We challenge one another’s assumptions. And we bring those perspectives together to help clients think more deeply about their organizations.

How We Think About the Work

We believe:

  • The presenting problem is not always the real problem.
  • Organizations need to be understood as systems.
  • People support what they help create.
  • Healthy disagreement can strengthen decisions.
  • Clarity and accountability are forms of respect.
  • Leadership behavior shapes organizational reality.
  • Change requires both strategy and human understanding.

The best solution is the one that fits the organization—not the consultant’s favorite methodology.

What Clients Can Expect

  • We listen carefully.
  • We ask difficult questions.
  • We look for patterns.
  • We connect issues that may initially appear unrelated.

We communicate directly and thoughtfully.

We design around the organization’s actual needs.

And we care deeply about helping organizations create movement that lasts.

Together

Our clients benefit from more than two areas of expertise.

They benefit from the intersection between them.

We work together because organizational challenges rarely belong to one function.

When people, leadership, strategy, systems, and change intersect, that is where our work is strongest.
